What is RON?
RON (Remote Online Notarization), has been providing the option to legally notarize documents online since 2011, eliminating the need to meet in person.
How long does the notarial process take?
The online notarial session will take as little as 5-15 minutes. This includes uploading the document, verifying your ID, connecting with a notary, and notarizing your documents.
Is it necessary to be a US citizen to utilize our service?
No. To complete the verification process, you need to either be a US citizen or have a US-based public profile. However, if you do not meet these requirements, you can have a witness verify your identity.
Does your ID verification accept passports?
Yes, we accept passports, driver’s licenses, and government-issued IDs
What are the system requirements for online notarization?
To have a Remote Online Notarization with A+ Notary, all you'll need is a device such as a tablet, smartphone, or computer, with internet access, a microphone, sound capabilities, and a camera.
Is online notarization secure?
Yes. To ensure compliance with state law, online notarizations have strict requirements, including secure verification and protection of your identity. A+ Notary uses the platform, NotaryLive which is certified by MISMO, which is a higher standard of security protocols commonly used in the mortgage industry and SecSign known for having the strongest Two-Factor Authentication available on the market. .
How much does the online notarial session cost?
Sessions start at $25.
Where can I receive my notarized document?
Your document will be sent to the email associated with your order, accessed through your dashboard (My Sessions → Your Document), or can be downloaded at the end of your session. If you’re a guest user that did not receive your document, please contact aplusnotary1@outlook.com
I was unable to complete the notarial process. Will I get a refund?
Yes. If you did not complete your online notarization, the authorization of funds will never actually be charged, and will automatically void after a few days. Please allow a few days for the changes to reflect on your account.
Can a document be edited once it has been notarized?
No element of a document can be edited after it has been notarized. The law mandates any changes on a document to be notarized again.
